March 2011
Jamie Berryman, one of our sales team, very recently took delivery of the company’s first new Toyota Prius hybrid-powered car. Not just any Prius, this one is ‘logoed-up’ (is that English?) with the Beechdale Energy name all over it and our logo which is a stylised solar PV panel prominently displayed on both sides. To say that it makes the car stand out is something of an understatement! Unfortunately, apparently it doesn’t stand out sufficiently as the very next day, while the car was parked (so Jamie says!) someone tried to park next to it and ripped the whole rear bumper off!
Our new eco showroom of renewable energy products and installations was put to the test this evening when we hosted a launch event for our neighbours in Kingston village.
Completion today of the preparation of our Eco showroom dedicated to renewable energy technologies. On display are solar PV panels to generate electricity, a solar thermal hot water system and an air-source heat pump.
First day at Ecobuild and everyone's exhausted. Phew!
